As we head out of the harbour the boat rocks back and forth weaving in and out of the iceburgs. The occasional jolt catches you if guard as we break through many of them.

The sun is tucked behind the clouds and there is an iced wind coming off the glacier. The water is so still it's reflection is almost as clear as a mirror.

I had a little nap with the warmth of the sun steaming through the window while we passed some open seas.

After a few hours the water has changed to the most beautiful rich Jade still studded with the occasional crisp white iceberg. They aren't as big here, they are melting in the warmth of the sun. When the boat slows down you can actually hear the drops hitting the ocean.

We are passing through a fjord, the mountains on both sides are an array of coloured stone, it looks as though someone has dropped buckets of paint down the side that have trickled all the way to the ocean.

We pass a waterfall gushing down the side of the mountain, the roar of the water is so loud it overcomes the engine of the boat.

Around the next bend I spot the eqi glacier! I can't see much yet except a massive wall of ice, but I know it's going to be magnificent!
